ER Lawn Service was founded in the summer of 2010 with a simple goal: to keep the bills paid while I was pursuing my college degree in social work. With a used mower, a used truck, and three lawns to maintain, the journey began.
Those three lawns quickly turned into ten, then twenty. As demand grew, I bought another mower and hired my first employee. Before long, 20 accounts became 50. Every bit of that growth was completely organic, driven by quality workmanship and dependable service. No shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just consistent, reliable results.
One day after class, I shared the success of the growing business with one of my professors. His advice was simple but powerful: “If you like what you do, run with it.” That honest encouragement helped shape the future of ER Lawn Service and remains a guiding principle to this day.
When it came time to choose a name, it was important that the business stand on its own. There are plenty of “Mike’s Mowing” or “MM Lawn Care” companies out there, but this company would be different. The focus would be on the quality of the work, not the name attached to it.
Aside from my family and my faith, one of the most important influences in my life is the family farm located on Eisman Road in Freedom Township. That is where the name ER comes from. It stands for Eisman Road.
ER Lawn Service is built on strong roots, hard work, and a commitment to quality that speaks for itself.
Today, ER Lawn Service proudly serves a long list of happy customers and has the privilege of employing many hardworking men and women. What began with three lawns and a used mower has grown into a trusted, dependable company that continues to expand while staying true to the values it was founded on.
